It's all over but the recovery - that is - from all the narcotics I'm taking! After 4 days in the hospital, I was anxious to get back to my comfy airbed and a decent nights rest at home!
It's been almost 3 weeks now and the doctor says I'm doing better than expected after an 8 hour surgery. Except for withdrawal symptoms from one of the drugs I've been taking, things are moving along nicely! I'm able to climb the stairs more than once a day now - and have been to the grocery store once or twice with help.
